TOY

From my recent post,i mentioned that i exposed my baby to reading books because i know that it will help them develop their skills.But as i have observed,baby's need time to play also.They should be given other output instead of just reading or just listening to baby songs.My hubby and i decided to buy a toy, something that he will enjoy at the same time develop his skills.Before we went to a mall ,i surf the net first to check whats good for his age..I then saw this Fisher Price Kickin and Bobbin Gym.I fell in love right away by just looking at the picture.I told my hubby if there's a stock available then well buy it for him.Afterwards,we then go to a mall and luckily there's one stock left.We asked the sales lady to try it and when baby Sky saw it,he was amazed and smiling and kept his foot kicking.Its as if he's telling us " Mom,dad pls buy it for me".We were so delighted looking at him,knowing that he liked the toy also.It was kinda expensive (P3,995) but because we know deep in our hearts it will make him happy,then without no doubts we bought it.i'll just loosened on my personal expenses instead :-)

Now baby Sky's is very happy and having fun with his new toy.

PNEUMONIA

Last night,my hubby and i watch the news together with our 6 month old baby when the news broke out that one of the deadliest disease ages from o-5 years old is PNEUMONIA.It makes me sad because i have a 6 month old baby.Right after the news,i asked my hubby what really Pneumonia is, the signs and symptoms and the causes.I asked him because he's in the medical field and i know gladly ha has bits and infos regarding that disease.This is what he says:

PNEUMONIA is an inflammatory of the lungs caused by the bacteria,viruses or fungi.

SYMPTOMS:

• COLDS
• CHEST PAIN
• HEADACHE
• MUSCLE ACHE
• BREATHING PROBLEMS

In order for the doctor to diagnosed if it is PNEUMONIA,the patient will under go general examination and chest x-ray.If then positive with Pneumonia,the patient will be given antibiotics,advised proper rest,give plenty of fluids,medication and hospitalization.Babies are so fragile that we have to take them extra care.In order for the baby not to have it,baby should be prevented by avoiding contact with people who have colds or suffering from lung or respiratory infection.Babies should be away from people who are suffering from chickenpox or measles that may develop pneumonia.

Mothers are advised to bring their babies to their Pediatrician for their vaccines.My baby was injected PNEUMOCOCCAL POLYSACCHARIDE VACCINE.It was kinda expensive ( P 3,500 ) but its not the amount that counts but the safety and the health of the baby that's important.One thing we mothers should do is we should be very sensitive and watchful to our babies.Not only to our babies but to our surrounding's.We have to make sure that the house,the food,the toys and everything that the baby are using are clean and safe.

MALL WIDE SALE

Last friday,i had so much fun malling with my baby..Its a mall wide sale and my hubby let us go to the mall..It was soo much fun and so with my baby Sky..Im not really the typical person who loves to go out to mall during sale practically because there are a lot of people, you have to wait 30 minutes just to pay a single purchase, so crowded, and if your'e hungry ,you have to wait for a table..(which i really hate) even at fine dining or food chains..But last week,i had sooo much fun.The mall service are improving.They set up fast lane cashier,and its making everything fast...GO Go Go !! I remember when im not yet married, everytime i get inside the mall,i go straight to my fave bookstore'to check new book releases and boutique's to check whats new and whats hot for the month,but now that im already a wife and a mom,i go straight to boutiques's that sold for baby's, for the house, for hubby and last for me..:-)..Truelly change everything if you're already married..The prices are quiet good..No 50% mark down but at least there's a 10 or 20 % less..quiet good enough..ayt!! Better save for the next mall wide SALE..

PERFECT CREDIT SCORE

BOOKS

My mom told me as young as 1 year old,i am already fascinated with books.She told me she would always read me stories from fairy tales to novels She is a wide reader,and i guess i got that from her.I would always see different books from her table and beside her bed table.Maybe then,i was enthusiast to read books also.She would rather buy books for me than toys.As i was growing up,reading books for me is a part of me.I'd rather stay home at week ends than going out with friends,out in the street even at the weewee hour of the night.Now even if i am already a wife, a mom and a blogger,i still find time to read books.I have a lot of favorite authors.For my spiritual guidance, i read Joel Osteen,Joyce Meyer,Rick Warren,Bo Sanchez.For novels,i admire Paolo Cuello,Dan Brown,Nicholas Sparks and a lot more.I barely read suspense books because i'm very very weak-kneed when it come's to suspense or horror stories..Books literally help me widened my horizon , and I learned a lot from reading.Its one way of educating myself and knowing myself of who i am in behalf.

When i was still pregnant with my baby,i make it a point to read stories aloud so my baby in my tummy could hear me.When he was born up until now my hubby and i would read him stories and its so nice seeing him very excited and very behave every time we read stories for him.My Pedia told me that introducing your baby to books helps him develop his senses and his literacy development.We buy books with big and bright pictures and pictures with different expressions.

Books are full of learning and opportunities and i would gladly want to expose this habit to my baby.

DENTAL CLINIC

For the past 3 months,my hubby and i,together with his staff are busy, in preparation for hubby's own dental clinic.I must say,it is not easy putting up a clinic.From ordering big dental equipments,down to cotton balls is so much stressing.75% of the materials and equipments are mostly bought outside the country, from his dental chair,light curing device,sterilizer,composite resin,scaler and etc have to be shifted 1 month before to test if all are doing well.In god's grace, everything are working well accordingly...He make it a point that he choose the innovative, unique and highly reliable products for the clinic.I must say again its very stressful but with god's grace everything is doing smoothly and easy.

Well be opening on Oct.8,2009..First 10 patients will be given 50% discount..
